Irene's first incursion into acting took place while she was studying at University, getting involved with the faculty's theatre group. Later on, after finding an evening theatre group and participating in a series of short films with her colleagues, she finally decided to go to Drama School in the Canary Island, finishing in 2022.

​

​With experience in stage and short films, she also took part in a film. She participated in a Shakespeare production in Dublin and she is currently based in Tenerife. Recently, she was cast as the lead in an international short film - Rare Fish - which will premiere in July 2025.
